Our visits give members the opportunity to visit places of interest that are not always accessible to the public. These trips also give people a chance to get to know each other better in an informal atmosphere. Although we are restricted by our geographical situation in the south west corner of the country, we organize several visits a year – day trips within the county and one visit over several days, either to somewhere in Britain or overseas. In spring 2002 a group went on a very successful three-day visit to Dublin, and in May 2003 there was a five day trip to Tuscany and Umbria.
